Brothers, do not complain about one another, so that you will not be judged. Look, the judge stands at the door! (James 5:9)
James 5:9 says that we shouldn’t grumble against one another. Complaining is a form of judgment, which will only bring judgment upon ourselves. Instead we should build each other up:
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
So stop yourself if you find yourself complaining about anyone or anything, unless you want to bring eternal judgment upon yourself. ©2014 Erika Seaborn
