Every day is a day of Thanksgiving

See that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all. Always rejoice, constantly pray, in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not extinguish the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt. But examine all things; hold fast to what is good. Stay away from every form of evil. (1 Thessalonians 5:15-22 NET)

Hello everyone! Even though today is a national holiday called Thanksgiving, we should remember that every day is a day of Thanksgiving. Especially we who are believers should focus on being thankful every day, and being an example of celebrating gratefulness each day. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, can you honestly say that every day you focus on being grateful and are an example to others of what being thankful every day means?
I think we can do better as a body of believers in Jesus Christ. I have noticed that many believers tend to put more effort into celebrating a pagan holiday, then they do with celebrating the reason of their salvation and for the reason they're living as a testimony to others.
Today and always, may we be more devoted to living as an example of Jesus Christ instead of living as an example of carnal tradition. GOD bless you! - Erika Seaborn
