Refuse to be offended. When people ignore, or are mean or rude to you…they're revealing themselves. They're telling you what's within themselves ...not what's within you. How you treat those who mistreat you, reveals your emotional and spiritual maturity.   “A fool’s displeasure is known at once, but whoever ignores an insult is sensible.”

Earlier today, I had a very heartfelt conversation with a friend of mine, who is a sales associate at a local retailer. She and I were discussing how this season doesn't feel like the Christmas holiday season...it feels more commercial and cold. Even though most holidays were created to drive consumerism in this nation...there was a special type of sentiment about love, family, friends, and most importantly...Jesus Christ that filled the hearts of many, and was felt without question. The scriptures say in Matthew 24:12 – "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." ... and it is becoming more and more evident as we speak! Even though many use this time of the year, as well as Easter  to focus onThe Lord...I choose to focus on Him daily, as I grow and am corrected , inspired, comforted, loved, and challenged by His Holy Spirit to fulfill His calling on my life. There are times when I don't get it 100% right...but He is still mercifully directing my steps and guiding me. My prayer is that even though it may not feel like a loving holiday season… we should aspire to walk in love daily, in spite of this world's traditions and customs. If you are born again, you should know that we are not called to be like this world anyway … but to be more like Christ. Today and always, may your life be filled with love … particularly the love of Christ, and your days overflowing with joy in spite of what is or not going on in this world. GOD bless you! #Evonika❤ღ❤

The smallest amount of perspective can have the greatest impact on your gratitude. You don't need your life to be perfect, in order to be grateful. Instead of making excuses…create opportunities. #Evonika❤ღ❤

You must expand your thoughts to have capacity for your blessings. When you are focused on goals that are bigger than you are, it makes your problems seem smaller than they are. #Evonika❤ღ❤

Good morning!😃 It doesn't matter what people say, the 'mannequin challenge' isn't anything but a fancy name for the classic game, "Freeze Tag." It's really something else, when people give a new name to something old...imagining they came up with something new, in order to get a reaction and attention from the masses. Today, and always...remember:

“What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; there is nothing new under the sun.”  — Ecclesiastes 1:9 #Evonika❤ღ❤

A choice is something presented to you, but a decision is something that has an impact on you. Don't say "whatever" until you're ready to do whatever it takes.  Life on purpose never wonders "who is going to let me get it done?"… it always asks, "Who is going to try and stop me?!"   A choice is about possibilities, but a decision is about direction. Discern the difference.  #Evonika❤ღ❤

The purpose of prayer is to seek The Lord's face…not as cryptic social media posts to gain attention and manipulate the emotions and perspectives of people

“When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.””  • Psalms 27:8 NKJV

EXPOSED!

Challenges don’t change you, they expose you. Just like a tube of toothpaste…whatever is inside of you comes out when squeezed. #Evonika❤ღ❤

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”

When one is enamored with their past, they'll tend to base their feelings of nostalgia with how they perceive their present situations and  relationships through rose colored glasses…thinking the past was better than it really was. Emotions are fickle and temporary. It's not wise to make life altering decisions based upon  feelings of nostalgia and regret. #Evonika❤ღ❤

We live in a generation that only desires to look at the surface value of a situation or person, when making life changing decisions. If it requires a significant amount of effort in order discover the innate value of something or someone, impatience will overwhelm those who want something of value to manifest immediately. Just as miners have to dig through layers to obtain diamonds and gold…there will be times we may have to put in some effort to dig through layers to recognize the value of something or someone. However, since many people have the "I got to have it now!" mentality of instant gratification…they give up because they don't want to put in effort but want what appears to have value on the surface to grab their attention instantaneously. The drawback to instantaneous gratification, attraction, or surface value… is that once that decision is made, you have no idea what lies beneath the layers until it's too late, and then you realize you gave up too soon on someone or something else because you didn't put in effort to dig through the layers. We often don't see the value in something or someone, until what's beneath their layers becomes evident after seeking something better because  of the surface value. Today and always, be willing to put in some effort to seek the value beneath the layers , instead of looking for the next best thing based on the veneer surface...you don't want to live a life of regrets, forfeiting value based on impatience, seeking the next best thing ... effort is required to have something of lasting value.#Evonika❤ღ❤

It is natural to desire certain things, but it is unnatural to allow them to govern our actions. That's why we need the supernatural help & guidance of the Holy Spirit to daily, to help us deal with the natural in ways that are in line with the Supernatural Word / Will of GOD.#Evonika❤ღ❤   “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
- Galatians 5:22-23

When situations have different results from what we were expecting, they're not reflective of who we are...they're learning opportunities & stepping stones.  Remember, F A I L means First Attempt In Learning!  Those circumstances are not the end of our story, but indicators of our continual effort.  Remember, E N D means Effort Never Dies!  If you receive a "No" as an answer...remember, NO means Next Opportunity!  — Erika Seaborn #Evonika♡ღ♡

“He has sent me to announce the time when the LORD will show his kindness and the time when our God will punish evil people. He has sent me to comfort all those who are sad and to help the sorrowing people of Jerusalem. I will give them a crown to replace their ashes, and the oil of gladness to replace their sorrow, and clothes of praise to replace their spirit of sadness. Then they will be called Trees of Goodness, trees planted by the LORD to show his greatness.”

— Isaiah 61:2-3 NCV

In my time, I have experienced and learned about the dimensions of God's graciousness and faithfulness.  Dealing with both positive and negative experiences in this lifetime…while trusting in Him, has helped me become content in every circumstance, while not having the answer to every question to satisfy inquiring minds ... I learned that it is better not to know each detail of everything , because if I did ... I wouldn't be living by faith in Him.  He's shown me time and time again , that trusting Him is better than putting trust in anything or anyone else ... because only through Him, can the impossible be made possible!  Choose to have a blessed lifetime of faith-filled living through Christ , and you would have made the best decision one could ever make! Then,  you will witness for yourself , how possibilities evolve from what appeared to be impossibilities!  God bless you!

“For with God nothing will be impossible.”” - Luke 1:37 NKJV

We cannot allow our present circumstances to influence the amount of hope we have for obtaining the promises that God has stored up for us, we cannot allow doubt to fog us. We can only allow faith in if we truly desire to receive the promise God has for us…to fill us with hope for obtaining it, while we endure the waiting period as we are alive in this world. #Evonika❤ღ❤

CAST YOUR CARES

Carrying all of life's burdens can be overwhelming, that's why you were never meant to do it! Cast your cares! #Evonika❤ღ❤

OUR PRAYERS REFLECT OUR LIFESTYLE

Our prayers are only as powerful as our lives.  We only pray as well as we live.#Evonika❤ღ❤
